ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Thomas Yeend is a designer and maker based in Adelaide, South Australia. After graduating a Bachelor Of Visual ArtsĀ from the University Of South Australia in 2015, with a specialisation in Glass, Yeend founded his self-titled studio, Thomas Yeend Design, in 2017, specialising in local hand-crafted glass homewares and lighting.
Combining his experience in blown glass techniques with a passionate exploration of new mediums and technologies, Yeend demonstrates a keen focus on materiality and aesthetic, producing work often characterised by minimalist forms and material exploration, aiming to fuse style with joy.
