ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Lauren Murphy creates sculptural, functional ceramics. As a recent graduate of Visual Communication Design at theĀ University of South Australia, Lauren combines design processes with a range of ceramic techniques to craft her hand built vessels. Laurenās work is influenced by the variation of forms, textures and colours in natural objects, as well as through exploration of shape, light and scale. Each work is crafted with functionality in mind, through a slow and meditative process of making.
