ABOUT THE ARTIST:

James Walker is a furniture and object designer specialising in solid timber, blending functionality with sculptural elegance to create unique, made-to-order pieces tailored to clients' needs. His work is deeply inspired by organic forms found in nature, resulting in designs that feel both fluid and timeless. He is particularly drawn to modular furniture solutions for the modern home, believing that multi-functional pieces encourage sustainable consumption and enduring design.

With a Bachelor of Design and a Bachelor of Media from the University of New South Wales, James currently works as a Furniture Associate at JamFactory in Adelaide, where he continues to refine his craft. Whether designing bespoke furniture, sculptural homewares, or innovative storage solutions, he is committed to creating pieces that harmonise aesthetics, practicality, and longevity.
